Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from central Sagami, head southwest on Route 246 towards Hakone. Continue on Route 246 for about 30 minutes. Look for signs for Hakone and take the exit for Hakone Yumoto. After exiting, follow the signs to Tenzan Onsen, which is located at 208 Yumotochaya, Hakone. There is parking available on-site, but it may incur a fee.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    From Sagami Station, take the JR Sagami Line to Hashimoto Station (approximately 10 minutes). Change to the JR Yokohama Line and take the train to Odawara Station (about 15 minutes). At Odawara Station, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Railway and ride to Hakone Yumoto Station (around 15 minutes). Once you arrive at Hakone Yumoto Station, Tenzan Onsen is a short 15-minute walk. Follow the signs towards Yumotochaya, or you can take a taxi for a small fee.
