Car
If you are driving to Tsurugisanchi, start by navigating to Tokushima City. From Tokushima, take Route 192 heading towards Mima. Continue along Route 192 until you reach the junction with Route 45. Turn left onto Route 45 and follow the signs for Koyadaira. The mountain is located near Kawakami Koyadaira, Mima, Tokushima 777-0303. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours from Tokushima City, depending on traffic. There is no parking fee at the trailhead.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Tokushima Station, take a bus heading to Mima. You can use the Tokushima Bus service. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and costs approximately 1,000 yen. Get off at the Koyadaira stop. From there, it is about a 30-minute walk to the base of Tsurugisanchi. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited on weekends and holidays.

Train and Bus Combo
If you prefer traveling by train, take the JR Tokushima Line from Tokushima Station to Ikenotaira Station, which takes around 30 minutes and costs about 500 yen. From Ikenotaira Station, you will need to take a local bus to Koyadaira. The bus journey takes about 20-30 minutes and costs around 600 yen. Once you arrive at Koyadaira, it's a short walk to the trailhead of Tsurugisanchi.
