If you are traveling by car, take the Matsuyama Expressway (Route 33) and follow the signs for Matsuyama City. Once you enter the city, take the exit towards 'Matsuyama Castle' (Matsuyama-jo). Parking is available at the base of the castle for a small fee, around 500 yen per day. From the parking area, you can either walk up a steep path or take the ropeway (cost: around 1,000 yen round trip) to reach the castle.
