Walking
From the Tobu Tochigi train station, walk north along the main street (Prefectural Route 31) for approximately 15 minutes. Turn left at the intersection near the Tochigi Post Office. Continue straight for a few blocks, and you'll find the Kuranomachi Pleasure Boat Agency on your right, near the river. The walk is mostly flat and offers views of the town.

From Tobu Tochigi Station, take the community bus (Tochigi City Loop Bus) to the 'Kuranomachi' bus stop. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. From the bus stop, walk towards the Uzuma River; the boat agency is a short walk from there. The bus fare is approximately ¥200.

A taxi from Tobu Tochigi Station to the Kuranomachi Pleasure Boat Agency takes about 5-7 minutes. The fare is approximately ¥800-¥1000. Taxis are readily available at the station.
