Car
If you're driving from Shimotsuke, take the Tohoku Expressway (E4) towards Nikko. Exit at the Nikko IC and follow the signs for Route 120. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach Kegon Waterfalls, located at 2479-2 Chugushi, Nikko. Parking is available nearby, but there may be a fee of around 500 yen.
Public Transportation
To reach Kegon Waterfalls via public transportation, start by taking a train from Shimotsuke Station to Nikko Station on the JR Nikko Line. This journey takes about 35 minutes. From Nikko Station, transfer to the Tobu Bus bound for Kegon Waterfalls (Kegon no Taki). The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. The bus fare is around 1,000 yen one way. Once you arrive at the Kegon Waterfalls bus stop, it's just a short walk to the viewing area.
