    If you're driving from central Shirakawa-go, head south on Route 156 towards Takayama. Continue on this road for about 50 kilometers (approximately 1 hour). Once you reach the city of Takayama, follow signs for Route 58 and then Route 41 towards Gifu. Daiou Temple is located at 67 Atagomachi, Takayama, Gifu 506-0855. There is parking available nearby the temple. Note that parking may incur a small fee.
