    If you are driving from Hida, head southeast on Route 158. Follow the signs for Takayama, which is approximately a 30-minute drive. Once you arrive in Takayama, look for signs directing you to Atagomachi. Turn left onto Atagomachi Street and continue until you reach 67 Atagomachi, where Daiou-ji temple is located. Parking may be available nearby, but check for any parking signs before leaving your vehicle.

    From Hida, take the train from Hida Takayama Station to Takayama Station. This journey takes around 30 minutes.
