Car
If you are driving from central Hida, head northeast on Route 41. After about 30 minutes, you will approach Takayama city. Continue straight until you see the signs for the city center (Takayama-shi). Turn right onto Route 158 (Tenshojimachi) and follow the signs for Sogen-ji. You will arrive at 39 Tenshojimachi, Takayama, Gifu 506-0832. Parking is available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees which may apply.
