    From Tajima, take Route 312 heading east towards the city center. Merge onto Route 9 and continue driving for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 1. Follow Route 1 towards Yokohama. Once you arrive in the Naka Ward area of Yokohama, look for signs to Yamate Italian Garden. The garden is located at 16 Yamatecho; there is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for parking fees which may apply.

    From Tajima, take the JR Tajima Line towards Toyooka and transfer at Toyooka Station to the JR Sanin Line. Travel to Yokohama Station (this may take about 2 hours). From Yokohama Station, transfer to the Minato Mirai Line and ride to Motomachi-Chukagai Station. Upon exiting the station, head toward Yamate area, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill. Follow the signs directing you to Yamate Italian Garden. Note that train fares may vary, so prepare for a cost of about 2,000 yen for the entire trip.
