If you are driving from the center of Wakasa, head south on Route 27 towards Obama. Continue on Route 27 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the city of Obama. Once in Obama, follow the signs for Obamahiyoshi. Turn left onto Prefectural Road 34 and continue for about 5 kilometers. You will see Mermaid Terrace on your right at Obamahiyoshi, Obama, Fukui 917-0068. There is free parking available at the site.

From Wakasa, take the Fukui Railway from Wakasa Station to Obama Station. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Obama Station, transfer to the local bus service (Bus number 2 towards Obamahiyoshi). The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Mermaid Terrace' bus stop, which is conveniently located near the entrance. The bus fare is around 500 yen.
