Getting There

  • Bus

    From Miyanoura Port, take the Yakushima Kotsu bus towards Isso. Get off at the Shitoko bus stop (No. 14). The park is a short 5-minute walk (400 meters) from the bus stop. Bus fares vary depending on the distance, so check the fare display above the driver when you board. Exact change is required when disembarking, but there is a change machine on the bus. A one-day bus pass costs 2,000 yen for unlimited rides.

  • Car

    From Miyanoura Port, drive approximately 7.5 km west along the coastal road. The drive takes about 15 minutes. From Yakushima Airport, it's about 17.2 km and a 26-minute drive to the park. Parking is available at the park for up to 15 cars. Parking is free.
