Car
If you're driving, start by getting onto the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) from your current location in Yamanashi. Follow signs for Nagoya or Shinjuku depending on your starting point. Take the Katsunuma IC exit (勝沼IC) and continue on Route 20. Drive for about 5 minutes, and then turn onto Route 140 towards Katsunumacho. Follow the signs for Chateau Katsunuma. The winery is located at 4729 Katsunumacho Hishiyama, Koshu, Yamanashi 409-1302. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
To reach Chateau Katsunuma using public transportation, first head to JR Katsunuma Station (勝沼駅) via the JR Chuo Line. From Tokyo, you can take an express train which takes about 90 minutes to get to Katsunuma Station. Upon arrival at Katsunuma Station, take a taxi to Chateau Katsunuma which is approximately a 10-minute ride away. The estimated cost for the taxi is around 1,500 to 2,000 yen.

From JR Katsunuma Station, you can also take a local bus to get closer to Chateau Katsunuma. Look for the 'Katsunuma Winery' bus line. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Please check the local bus schedule for the latest timings as they can vary. After getting off at the nearest bus stop, it is a short walk to the winery.
