If you are driving, start from central Yamanashi and take Route 20 towards Koshu. Continue on Route 20 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 409. Turn onto Route 409 and follow the signs for Katsunumacho. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see The 997 Katsunuma on your right at the address: 1316 409 Katsunumacho Katsunuma, Koshu, Yamanashi 409-1316. Parking is available on-site.

To reach The 997 Katsunuma using public transportation, start by taking the JR Chuo Line from Kofu Station to Katsunuma Station. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Katsunuma Station, exit the station and take the local bus (Katsunuma Loop Bus) towards Katsunuma Winery. The bus ride is approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Katsunuma Winery stop, and from there, it is a short 5-minute walk to The 997 Katsunuma located at 1316 409 Katsunumacho Katsunuma, Koshu, Yamanashi 409-1316. Please note that the local bus fare is around 200 yen.

If you prefer to travel by bus exclusively, you can take a highway bus from Shinjuku to Kofu Station. From Kofu Station, transfer to the local bus service heading towards Katsunumacho. The bus journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you reach the Katsunumacho stop, The 997 Katsunuma is a short 10-minute walk away. The highway bus fare is approximately 2,000 yen, and the local bus fare is around 200 yen.
