Discover more about 名前のない展望台(古墳のある青峰園)

The Unnamed Observatory, or 'Namae no Nai Tenbodai' in Japanese, is a scenic overlook managed by Seihou-en, a local farm known for its grape cultivation. What makes this spot unique is its integration with a 'kofun,' an ancient burial mound, estimated to be around 1400 years old. This provides visitors with a chance to appreciate both the natural landscape and a glimpse into the region's history. From the observatory, you can enjoy unobstructed views of Yamanashi City. On clear days, the peak of Mount Fuji is also visible. At night, the area transforms into a beautiful spot for nightscapes. The Seihou-en farm also uses the observatory to promote the grape园区 in Katsunuma, even though the overlook is located in Yamanashi City. Seihou-en also sells original wines made with grapes harvested from their farm. The Unnamed Observatory is a place to experience the quiet beauty of Yamanashi, combining natural vistas with historical intrigue.
