If you're driving from central Yamanashi or nearby cities, take Route 20 heading towards Koshu. As you approach Koshu, follow the signs for Katsunumacho. Continue on Route 20 until you reach the intersection with Route 137. Turn left onto Route 137. After about 3 kilometers, you will see signs for Chateau Mercian Wine Museum. Follow the signs to the museum, which is located at 1106-1 Katsunumacho Shimoiwasaki. Parking is available on-site, and it is usually free.

Start your journey by taking the JR Chuo Line train to Katsunuma Station. This station is accessible from major stations in Yamanashi, such as Kofu. From Katsunuma Station, take the local bus (Katsunuma Community Bus) that goes towards the Katsunuma area. Get off at the 'Chateau Mercian' stop. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes, and the fare is approximately 500 yen. The museum will be a short walk from the bus stop.
