Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Kofu, take the Chuo Expressway towards Nagoya. Exit at the Hokuto IC and follow signs for Route 20 towards Hokuto. After about 15 minutes, turn right onto Route 141. Continue for approximately 5 km until you reach Akenocho Asao. The 梅之木遺跡 will be on your left at 6315 Akenocho Asao, Hokuto, Yamanashi 408-0201. Look for parking nearby, as there are designated areas for visitors.

    To reach 梅之木遺跡 by train, take the JR Chuo Line from Kofu Station towards Matsumoto. Get off at Tsurugaoka Station.
