If you're traveling by car from Buzen, head west on Route 10 towards Beppu. After approximately 25 kilometers, you will approach Beppu. Take the exit towards Beppu City, then continue on Route 11 (Beppu to Yufuin Line) for about 5 kilometers. Follow the signs to Myoban Jigoku (明礬地獄), which is located in the Myoban area of Beppu. The exact address is 〒874-0840 Oita, Beppu, 明礬. There is parking available at the site, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.

To reach Myoban Jigoku via public transport, start from Buzen and make your way to the nearest train station, which is usually Buzen Station. Take a train to Beppu Station (approximately a 30-minute ride). From Beppu Station, head to the bus terminal located nearby. Take the 'Myoban Onsen' bus that runs frequently. The ride will take you around 20 minutes, and you should disembark at the Myoban Jigoku stop. The entrance to Myoban Jigoku is a short walk from the bus stop.
