Getting There

Walking
From the Petra Visitor Center, head towards the main entrance of Petra. As you enter the site, follow the path towards the Siq, a narrow gorge that leads into Petra. Once you reach the end of the Siq, you will be greeted by the iconic Treasury. Continue walking straight past the Treasury and head towards the Street of Facades. Stay on the main path and follow the signs directing you to the Garden Temple. The temple is located in the area known as the Royal Tombs, so look for signs pointing in that direction. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace and the time you spend exploring the various sites along the way.

If you are starting from the High Place of Sacrifice, exit the site from the High Place and walk down the path towards the main trail. As you descend, continue following the path until you reach the intersection near the Royal Tombs. At this junction, take the path leading towards the Garden Temple. The Temple will be on your right-hand side after about a 15-minute walk.
