As you walk, you will pass the Siq, a narrow gorge that leads you deeper into Petra. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the Siq, where you will see the famous Al-Khazneh (The Treasury) in front of you. From the Treasury, turn left and follow the path uphill. You will see signs directing you towards the Nabatean Theatre. The theatre will be on your right after a short walk.

If you are starting from Al-Khazneh (The Treasury), face away from the Treasury and walk towards the path that leads uphill. Keep an eye out for the directional signs that indicate the Nabatean Theatre. Continue walking up the path; you'll find the theatre after a few minutes on your right side, just off the main trail. It's a slight detour but well worth it for the views.
