Start at the Lawrence Public Library located at 707 Vermont St. Head south on Vermont St until you reach 7th St. Turn right on 7th St and walk until you reach Massachusetts St. Turn left onto Massachusetts St and continue walking until you reach the intersection with 9th St. From there, continue straight, and the Public Garden will be approximately 1.5 miles ahead on the right side.

Begin your journey at the nearest bus stop which is likely at 6th and Massachusetts St. Take the City of Lawrence Bus Route 1 towards the South Lawrence Trafficway. After about 15-20 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of 7th St and Massachusetts St. From there, you can walk south on Massachusetts St until you reach the Public Garden, which is about a 10-minute walk.
