If you are starting from downtown Lawrence, head east on Massachusetts Street. Walk past the shops and restaurants until you reach the intersection with 9th Street. Turn left onto 9th Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with New Hampshire Street. Turn right onto New Hampshire Street and continue walking until you reach the bus stop on 19th Street. From there, you can take the Lawrence Public Transit bus number 11, which will take you to the nearest transfer point at the intersection of 23rd Street and Louisiana Street. Get off at this stop, and then transfer to bus number 3, which will take you to the Lawrence Transit Center. From the Transit Center, you can catch a bus that goes to Salem, Massachusetts.
Bicycle
Start at the Lawrence Loop Trail, which is accessible from downtown Lawrence. Head northeast on the Loop Trail until you connect with the South Lawrence Trafficway. Follow the trafficway until you reach the intersection with 23rd Street. Turn left onto 23rd Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Louisiana Street. At this point, you will find a bike lane leading you to the Lawrence Transit Center. Once at the Transit Center, you can rent a bike or use the public transport to reach your destination. Make sure to check the local rental shops for availability.
Public Transit
From the Lawrence Public Library located at 707 Vermont St, walk to the nearest bus stop at 7th and Vermont. Board bus number 11 towards the Lawrence Transit Center. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Transit Center. From there, you can catch a Greyhound bus heading towards Salem, Massachusetts. Make sure to check the Greyhound schedule in advance for the exact departure times.
