If you are in downtown Lawrence, start at Massachusetts Street, which is the main street in the area. Head east on 11th Street, then turn left onto New Hampshire Street. Continue walking north until you reach 9th Street. Turn right (east) and walk until you reach the intersection with Vermont Street. Continue straight as Vermont Street turns into 8th Street. You will see the Central Burying Ground on your left at the intersection of Boylston Street. The walk is approximately 20 minutes.

From downtown Lawrence, find the nearest bus stop for the Lawrence Transit System. You can take the bus route that heads towards the Lawrence Public Library. Get off at the stop closest to 9th and Vermont Streets. From there, walk east on 9th Street, then turn left onto Vermont Street. Walk straight until you reach Boylston Street, where the Central Burying Ground will be located. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop is around 5 minutes.
