From Almaty city center, head east on Abay Avenue. Continue straight onto Al-Farabi Avenue. After about 10 km, you will reach the entrance to Ile-Alatau National Park. Once inside the park, follow the signs for Alma-Arasan. The road will lead you to the Alma-Arasan area, where you can park your car near the entrance to the recreation area. Please note that there may be a small entrance fee for the national park, typically around 500 KZT (Kazakhstani Tenge) per person.

From the Almaty city center, take a bus (route 12 or 28) towards the Medeu district. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
