If you are traveling by car, start from Almaty city center and head southeast on Al-Farabi Avenue. Continue onto Dostyk Avenue, and then take the right exit onto Zhandosov Street. Follow Zhandosov Street for about 10 km until you reach the Visit Center Ile-Alatau National Park, located at Zhandosov Street 1, Kamenka. There is usually no parking fee, but check for any potential road tolls on your route.

To reach the Visit Center using public transportation, take bus number 12 from Almaty city center towards Kamenka. The bus will take you directly to the vicinity of the Visit Center. Make sure to get off at the stop closest to Zhandosov Street. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the Visit Center located at Zhandosov Street 1. The bus fare is approximately 100 KZT.
