If you are traveling by car, start from Almaty city center. Head southeast on Abay Avenue towards Dostyk Avenue, then turn left onto Dostyk Avenue. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers. Follow the signs for the Medeu District. Once you reach the Medeu area, look for signs leading to Ile-Alatau National Park. Enter the park and drive towards the Гүлім бұлақ direction, approximately 5 kilometers from the park entrance. Ensure you have a park entry fee ready, which is around 1,000 KZT for vehicles.

To reach Гүлім бұлақ via public transportation, take a bus from Almaty city center to the Medeu area. You can catch bus number 12 or 28 from the central bus station (Станция Алматы) that goes directly to Medeu. The fare is approximately 150 KZT. Once you arrive at Medeu, you may need to take a taxi to reach the Гүлім бұлақ area, which will cost about 1,500 KZT. Make sure to communicate that you are going to Гүлім бұлақ to the taxi driver.
