If you are driving from Almaty city, take the Almaty Ring Road (A2) towards the Almaty Mountains. Continue on the A2 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the exit for the Almaty National Park. Follow the signs to the park entrance. You may need to pay an entrance fee of around 700 KZT (approx. $1.50) per vehicle. Once inside the park, continue driving until you reach the designated parking area near Qasqyr tauy. From the parking area, it's a short hike of about 1 kilometer to the peak. Make sure to have a GPS or a map, as some roads may not be well-marked.

To reach Qasqyr tauy via public transportation, start from Almaty city center and take a bus or minibus (marshrutka) heading towards the Almaty National Park. Once you arrive, pay the entrance fee of around 700 KZT (approx. $1.50). From the entrance, you’ll need to walk or hitch a ride to the parking area near Qasqyr tauy.
