Car
From Almaty city center, drive east on Abay Avenue until you reach the intersection with Al-Farabi Avenue. Turn left onto Al-Farabi Avenue and continue until you reach the Medeu District. Follow the signs to Medeu, which is approximately 15 kilometers from the city center. Once you arrive at the Medeu Ice Skating Rink, park your car. From here, you will need to hike towards Kumbel Peak, which is accessible via hiking trails.

Take bus number 12 or 28 from Almaty city center. The bus will take you to the Medeu District. Get off at the stop for the Medeu Ice Skating Rink. From there, you will need to hike towards Kumbel Peak. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings. The fare for the bus is approximately 150 KZT.

Starting from the Medeu Ice Skating Rink, follow the marked trails heading towards Kumbel Peak.
