From the main entrance of Kolsai Lakes National Park, head southeast on the A351 road. Continue driving for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left fork towards the village of Saty, which is well-marked. After about 5 kilometers, you will enter the village. Continue through Saty, following the signs for Ozero Chon-Uryukty. The road will become more rugged after leaving the village. Drive cautiously for about 10 kilometers until you reach a small parking area near the lake. Make sure to have a map or GPS device to help navigate, as the road can be tricky.

Public Transportation
Take a minibus (marshrutka) from Almaty to the village of Saty. The journey usually takes around 4-5 hours, and the fare is approximately 1500 KZT.
