If you're traveling by car from the main entrance of Kolsai Lakes National Park, head southeast on the main park road towards Saty village. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork, which leads towards Ozero Kaindy. The road will wind through beautiful landscapes and forest areas. Keep following the signs for Ozero Kaindy. After about 10 more kilometers, you will arrive at the parking area near the lake. There is no entrance fee for Ozero Kaindy, but be prepared for a rough road in some areas.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, first take a bus from Almaty to Saty village. Buses leave from the Sayakhat bus station in Almaty, and the trip takes around 4-5 hours, costing approximately 1500 KZT. Once you arrive in Saty, hire a local taxi or use a ride-sharing app to reach Ozero Kaindy, which is about 12 kilometers from Saty. Expect to pay around 2000 KZT for the taxi ride. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand as prices may vary.

If you prefer an adventurous approach, consider hiking from Kolsai Lakes to Ozero Kaindy. Start at Kolsai Lake 1 and follow the marked trails towards the village of Saty. The hike is about 15 kilometers and will take approximately 4-5 hours, depending on your pace. From Saty, you can either continue hiking to Ozero Kaindy (approximately 12 kilometers) or take a taxi as mentioned earlier. Ensure you have proper hiking gear and enough water for the journey.
