If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Ngong Town from your location in Chyulu Hills. You will need to take the A104 highway towards Nairobi. Once you reach Ngong Town, follow the signs to Ngong Road. After about 5 kilometers on Ngong Road, you will see the entrance to the Ngong Road Forest Sanctuary on your left. Ensure to check for parking availability at the sanctuary upon arrival.

To reach Ngong Road Forest Sanctuary via public transportation, first, find a matatu (shared taxi) that goes to Ngong Town from your current location in Chyulu Hills. The fare is typically around 150-300 KES depending on your starting point. Once you arrive in Ngong Town, you can either walk or take another matatu going towards Ngong Road. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Ngong Road Forest Sanctuary, which is approximately 5 kilometers from Ngong Town. Walking from Ngong Town to the sanctuary is also an option if you prefer a scenic route.
