Car
If you're traveling by car, head out from any location in the Kilimanjaro Region towards the A104 highway. Follow the signs towards Arusha. After approximately 100 km, take the exit towards Taveta (B1) and continue for about 40 km until you reach the junction with the C102 road. Turn left onto C102, which will lead you towards Mtito Andei. Continue on C102 for around 30 km, and you will see signs directing you to the Salt Lick Game Lodge. The lodge is located at F628+VW6 Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge, Mtito Andei Mombasa Road. Ensure you have a GPS or a map for precise navigation as some areas may not have clear signage.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) or bus from your location in the Kilimanjaro Region to the town of Taveta. This journey will cost approximately 5,000 KES and take around 2-3 hours. Once in Taveta, look for a matatu heading towards Mtito Andei. This should cost about 3,000 KES and take another 1-2 hours. As you approach Mtito Andei, keep an eye out for signage directing you to Salt Lick Game Lodge. Depending on your arrival time, you may need to arrange for a taxi from Mtito Andei to the lodge, which should cost around 1,500 KES.
