To reach Meru National Park from Laikipia Plateau by car, start your journey on the A2 highway heading southeast. Continue on the A2 for approximately 90 kilometers until you reach the junction with the C96 road. Turn right onto the C96 road, which will take you through scenic views and local villages. Follow the C96 for about 20 kilometers, and you will see signs directing you to Meru National Park. The park entrance is located near Maua, which is approximately 10 kilometers from the C96 turn-off.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from Laikipia Plateau to Nanyuki. The fare is typically around 300-500 KES depending on your starting point. From Nanyuki, catch a matatu heading to Maua; this leg of the journey will cost approximately 400 KES and take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Maua, you can either hire a taxi or take another matatu to the Meru National Park entrance, which is about 10 kilometers away. Be prepared to negotiate taxi fares, which should be around 1000 KES.
