Bicycle
From Malindi town center, head east on Moi Road towards Malindi Marine National Park. After about 1.5 kilometers, continue straight onto Mombasa-Malindi Road. Look for signs for Mida Creek. After about 3 kilometers, you'll reach the entrance of Mida Creek Bird Observatory. Lock your bike and walk towards the observatory, which is located at MXC7+9XC, Wetland, Mida.

Walking
If you're walking from Malindi town, start on Moi Road and proceed towards the coast. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Mombasa-Malindi Road. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you see signage for Mida Creek. The observatory is located at MXC7+9XC, Wetland, Mida. It will take roughly 1 hour to walk there.

Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
To reach Mida Creek Bird Observatory using a Boda Boda, find a motorbike taxi in Malindi town. Inform the driver to take you to Mida Creek. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off near the entrance at MXC7+9XC, Wetland, Mida.

Public Matatu
To get to Mida Creek Bird Observatory by matatu, head to the nearest matatu stage in Malindi. Board a matatu heading towards Mida, and inform the conductor you want to get off at the Mida Creek stop. After a short ride (approximately 20 minutes), get off and walk towards the observatory, which is located at MXC7+9XC, Wetland, Mida, about a 10-minute walk from the drop-off point.
