If you're driving from Nanyuki, take the A2 road towards Nyeri. Continue on this road until you reach the junction at Karatina. Take the B7 road towards Embu. Once you reach Embu, follow the signs to Maua on the A2 road. Meru National Park is about 30 km from Maua. You will need to pay an entrance fee at the park gate, which is approximately 1,000 KES for adults and 500 KES for children. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some roads can be rough, especially closer to the park.

From Nanyuki, take a matatu (shared minibus) heading towards Meru town. Once in Meru town, you can find matatus heading to Maua. The fare from Nanyuki to Meru is around 300 KES, and from Meru to Maua is about 100 KES. After arriving in Maua, you can hire a taxi or arrange for a local guide to take you the remaining 30 km to the park entrance.
