Bicycle
From Naivasha town center, head southeast on Moi South Lake Road. Follow the road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Longonot. Take the left turn towards Longonot and continue straight until you reach the entrance of Longonot National Park. The crater is about 7 kilometers from the entrance, so be prepared for a hike.

Walking
Starting from Naivasha town, head to the main bus station and take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Nakuru. Inform the driver you want to stop at Longonot. Once you arrive at the Longonot junction, follow the road signs towards Longonot National Park. It's about a 2-kilometer walk to the entrance of the park from the junction. The hike to the crater from the park entrance is about 7 kilometers.

Public Transport (Matatu)
From Naivasha town, go to the main bus stage and catch a matatu to Nakuru. The fare is usually affordable, and the journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Longonot turn-off. From there, it is a short walk or bike ride to the Longonot National Park entrance. The hike to the crater from the entrance is approximately 7 kilometers.
