From the town of Garissa, head north on the A3 highway towards the town of Modogashe. Continue on this route for approximately 120 kilometers until you reach the junction with the B6 road. Turn onto the B6 road and drive for another 60 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Nyiri Desert. Follow the dirt road signs leading into the desert area. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions, as some sections may be challenging.

Take a matatu (shared taxi) from Garissa to Modogashe. The journey will take about 2-3 hours, depending on road conditions.
