Turn onto the B6 road and drive for another 60 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Nyiri Desert. Follow the dirt road signs leading into the desert area. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions, as some sections may be challenging.
Public Transportation

Take a matatu (shared taxi) from Garissa to Modogashe. The journey will take about 2-3 hours, depending on road conditions. Once in Modogashe, you will need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a motorbike taxi to take you the remaining 60 kilometers to the Nyiri Desert.
