If you are driving within Tsavo National Park, head towards the main road that leads to the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway. From there, follow the signs for 'Salt Lick Game Lodge.' The lodge is located approximately 40 kilometers from the main entrance of Tsavo East National Park. The coordinates for the lodge are -3.547825 latitude and 38.2172762 longitude. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as some paths may be bumpy.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from the nearest town, Mtito Andei, which is about 30 kilometers from the lodge. The matatus usually depart from the main bus station in Mtito Andei. Inform the driver that you are headed to Salt Lick Game Lodge, as they will be familiar with the destination. The fare is approximately 200-300 Kenyan Shillings. Once you arrive at the nearest drop-off point, you may need to hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to cover the last few kilometers to the lodge.
