If you're driving from the town of Tetovo, take the M5 highway towards Mavrovo. Continue on this road for approximately 40 kilometers. You will see signs for Mavrovo National Park. Once you arrive in Mavrovo, follow the signs to the main village area where you will find parking available near the lake and the church.

Public Transportation
To reach Mavrovo by public transport, take a bus from Tetovo to the town of Mavrovo. Buses run regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Mavrovo, you can easily walk to the main attractions around the lake and the church, as they are within walking distance from the bus station.

From the city of Skopje, take the A1 highway towards Tetovo. After about 50 kilometers, take the exit toward M5 and continue on the M5 highway for another 40 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Mavrovo National Park. Once in Mavrovo, you can park near the lake and start exploring the area.

Public Transportation
From Skopje, board a bus heading to Tetovo. Once in Tetovo, transfer to a bus going to Mavrovo. The entire trip may take around 2 hours. Upon arrival, the main points of interest, including the lake and the church, are just a short walk from the bus stop.
