To reach Mavrovo by public transport, take a bus from Tetovo to the town of Mavrovo. Buses run regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Mavrovo, you can easily walk to the main attractions around the lake and the church, as they are within walking distance from the bus station.

From the city of Skopje, take the A1 highway towards Tetovo. After about 50 kilometers, take the exit toward M5 and continue on the M5 highway for another 40 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Mavrovo National Park. Once in Mavrovo, you can park near the lake and start exploring the area.
