Tat Sae Waterfalls, also known as Tad Sae Waterfalls, is a stunning natural attraction located a short distance from Luang Prabang. The falls are situated along a tributary of the Nam Khan River, approximately 18 kilometers (11 miles) southeast of Luang Prabang and about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the village of Bak En. The multi-tiered waterfall cascades over limestone formations, creating a series of pools perfect for swimming and relaxation. The surrounding lush green tropical jungle adds to the beauty of the area. While not as high as Kuang Si Falls, Tat Sae offers a unique charm with its many streams of water pouring over the limestone. However, even during the dry season, the falls can still offer a pleasant experience. Visitors can also explore the upper-level pools by trekking through the jungle foliage.
