From the center of Cēsis, walk towards the bus station located at Cēsis, Stacijas iela 1. This is approximately a 10-minute walk. Once at the bus station, look for the bus that heads to Limbaži. The bus journey will take about 30-40 minutes. After arriving at Limbaži, disembark at the Limbaži bus station. From the bus station, head southwest towards Ielezera iela. Follow Ielezera iela for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the start of the Lielezers nature trail, which will be on your left. The trail entrance is well marked, and you can expect to see signs indicating the nature trail.
