    From Jurmala, head to the nearest train station, which is likely Majori or Jūrmala. Board a train heading towards Rīga. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Rīga's central station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop located nearby. Take tram line 11 or 12 towards 'Mežaparks'. After about 10 stops, get off at 'Rīgas Doms'. Walk straight ahead for about 10 minutes, following Mūkusalas iela. The National Library of Latvia will be on your left, at Mūkusalas iela 3.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the beach promenade in Jurmala and cycle towards Rīga along the scenic route. Head towards the Lielupe River and continue north. Follow the path along the river until you reach the bridge leading into Rīga. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight until you reach Mūkusalas iela.
