Getting There

  • Walking

    From the heart of Agenskalns, head north on Daugavgrīvas iela toward Krišjāņa Barona iela. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rīgas iela. Turn left onto Rīgas iela and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will then reach the Rīga Central Market; continue past it. Cross the bridge over the river, and shortly after, take a right onto Palasta iela. The Museum of the History of Riga and Navigation will be on your left at Palasta iela 4.

    From Agenskalns, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Agenskalna tirgus', located on Agenskalna iela. Take bus number 21 towards Rīga, which runs frequently. Get off at the 'Lielā iela' stop. From there, walk straight on Lielā iela until you reach the intersection with Palasta iela. Turn left onto Palasta iela and the museum will be at number 4 on your right.
