Walking
If you are starting from the Old Town (Vecrīga), head towards the Freedom Monument located at Brīvības bulvāris. From there, walk straight down Brīvības iela, which will lead you to the Daugava River. Cross the bridge (Akmens tilts) over the river and continue straight until you reach Rātslaukums Square. Riga City Hall will be on your right at Rātslaukums 1.

If you are near the Central Market (Centrāltirgus), take tram line 1 or 2 from the 'Centrāltirgus' stop towards 'Jugla' or 'Zasulauks' respectively. Travel for about 4 stops and get off at 'Rātslaukums'. From the tram stop, you will see Riga City Hall directly in front of you at Rātslaukums 1.
