Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Old City (Vecrīga), head towards the main square. Walk along Kaļķu iela and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Doma laukums. Dome Square will be on your left. Look for the beautiful Dome Cathedral which is a prominent landmark in the square.

Public Transport
You can take tram number 5 or number 7 from the nearest tram stop. Board the tram and travel towards the 'Doma laukums' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the square which is located directly in front of you. The Dome Cathedral will be visible as you approach.

Walking
If you are at the Central Market (Centrāltirgus), exit the market and head north on Nēģu iela. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tērbatas iela. Turn right onto Tērbatas iela and walk until you reach the intersection with Doma laukums. Dome Square will be straight ahead, marked by the impressive Dome Cathedral.

From the Latvian National Museum of Art, exit and head towards the small park nearby. Walk through the park towards the end where you will find Doma laukums. It’s a short walk, and you will see the Dome Cathedral as you approach the square.
