    If you are in central Riga, walk to the nearest tram stop, such as 'Rīgas Centrālā Dzelzceļa Stacija' (Riga Central Train Station). From there, take tram line 7 (direction: 'Rīga - Apkaimē') or tram line 11 (direction: 'Rīga - Jugla'). You will need to get off at the 'Mūkusalas iela' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight ahead on Mūkusalas iela for about 5 minutes, and you will see the National Library of Latvia on your right-hand side.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From the 'Rīgas Centrālā Dzelzceļa Stacija' (Riga Central Train Station), head to the bus stop located just outside the station. Take bus number 22 (direction: 'Zemgale') or bus number 53 (direction: 'Zemgale'). You will need to get off at the 'Mūkusalas iela' stop. After getting off, walk straight along Mūkusalas iela for about 5 minutes, and the National Library of Latvia will be on your right.
