If you're starting from the Old Town (Vecrīga), head towards the Doma Square (Doma Laukums). From there, exit the square and walk towards the Rīga Cathedral. Continue straight onto Rātslaukums, where you will find Roland's Statue in the center of the square. It should take you about 10 minutes on foot.
