Getting There

Car
From Thaba-Bosiu National Monument, head southwest on the A2 road. Continue on the A2 for approximately 30 kilometers. You will pass through the small town of Maseru. After Maseru, follow the signs for the A1 road towards the town of Roma. At the junction, take the A1 towards Mohale's Hoek. Continue on this road for about 25 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Malealea. Turn right onto the R563 road, which will lead you to Malealea Village. Follow the R563 for about 20 kilometers, and you will arrive at Malealea Lodge.

Public Transportation
From Thaba-Bosiu National Monument, take a taxi or minibus to Maseru. The fare is typically around M20-30. In Maseru, find a taxi or minibus that is heading towards Mohale's Hoek. This ride will cost around M30-50 and takes about an hour. Once you reach Mohale's Hoek, you will need to take a local taxi to Malealea Lodge. The fare for this last leg is usually M50-70 and will take approximately 30 minutes.

If you are already in Malealea Village, you can walk to Malealea Lodge. The lodge is situated within the village itself. From the center of Malealea Village, follow the main path leading towards the Lodge. It's a short distance, approximately 1 kilometer, and should take you around 15-20 minutes on foot.
