Leismüller's passion project has grown from performing to small audiences to filling 96% of its seats today. The opera house boasts a repertoire of famous ballets, plays, and operas such as Hänsel und Gretel and The Magic Flute. Over 500 meticulously crafted marionettes, each weighing 800 to 1,500 grams, bring these stories to life with surprising grace and expressiveness. The puppeteers, a team of around a dozen, work diligently to create a seamless and enchanting performance.
