Public Transportation - Bus

From the French Quarter, walk to the nearest bus stop at Chartres St + St. Louis St. Catch the E2 bus heading towards Elysian Fields Ave. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop at Elysian Fields + Moss St. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk: head south on Moss St until you reach 1337 Moss St, where the Bayou St. John Historic District is located.
Walking

If you're starting from City Park, head south on Esplanade Ave towards Moss St. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the intersection of Esplanade Ave + Moss St. Turn left onto Moss St and walk for another 5 minutes to reach 1337 Moss St, the Bayou St. John Historic District.
Bicycle Rental

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in the French Quarter. Head to the intersection of Chartres St and St. Louis St, then ride east on St. Louis St until you reach the riverfront. Follow the bike path along the river until you reach Elysian Fields Ave. Turn left and ride on Elysian Fields Ave until you reach Moss St. Turn left again and pedal for about 5 minutes to reach 1337 Moss St, Bayou St. John Historic District.
Streetcar

Take the Canal Street streetcar line from the French Quarter. Ride the streetcar until you reach the stop at Canal + Carrollton Ave. From there, transfer to the bus by walking one block to the bus stop at Carrollton + Canal. Take the E2 bus towards Elysian Fields Ave and get off at Elysian Fields + Moss St. Walk south on Moss St for about 5 minutes to arrive at 1337 Moss St.
