Car
From Ihorombe, take Route Nationale 7 (RN7) heading south towards Toliara. After approximately 60 kilometers, you will reach the intersection near the town of Sakaraha. Continue on RN7 for another 20 kilometers until you see signs for Zombitse-Vohibasia National Park. Turn right onto the access road leading to the park entrance. Be aware of the dirt road conditions, and ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain. The park entrance is well-marked.

Public Transportation
Start by taking a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from Ihorombe to Toliara. The journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic and stops. Once you arrive at the Toliara taxi-brousse station, transfer to another taxi-brousse heading towards Sakaraha. Tell the driver you are going to Zombitse-Vohibasia National Park, and they will drop you off at the nearest junction. From there, you may need to walk or hire a local guide to take you to the park entrance, which is approximately 5 kilometers away.

If you prefer a more guided experience, consider hiring a local guide once you arrive in Sakaraha or Toliara. They can provide transportation in a 4x4 vehicle to the park entrance and assist with navigating the trails. Typically, hiring a guide costs around 50,000 to 100,000 Ariary (approximately $13 to $26) for the day, depending on your negotiation and the services offered.
